In another thread here, can't remember which, someone recommended these to me. I'm always looking for something easy for my kids' lunches in the summertime. There are several different Fresh Mixers; there are three that we can have that are milk-, egg-, and peanut-free. (No, I didn't call the company, however.)
The kids LOVE these little meals. DS loves the sweet & sour chicken cuz he feels like he finally gets to eat Chinese! DD loves the pasta/tomato sauce ones.
Mom loves them cuz the kids can heat them up in the microwave, get some fruit and drink to go along with, and make their own lunches.
edit: N/M-I just looked it up and they are Con Agra. I don't trust them-has anyone called lately? I can't even add up the amount of time I spent trying to wrestle information from this company but it's been years since I've tried.

When I called Unilever in mid-December I was told that they do not label for allergens used on shared lines with non-allergic foods. Furthermore they stated that they do not offer allergen free facilities and food allergic consumers may or may not wish to consume their processed products. We stopped using all of their products.
This was the ConAgra response about these mixers. I asked them for an ingredients list so I didn't have to stand in the aisle for a half hour and read all these. No can do (plus, screw you, allergic consumer...)

Thank you for your request for more information about the ingredients in our products.
The Food and Drug Administration has rules we are required to follow regarding labeling. If we add a common allergen, it is listed on the ingredient statement even if it appears in small quantities. We do purchase certain ingredients from suppliers, and they are required to comply with the identical FDA regulations pertaining to labeling. We periodically audit our suppliers to ensure that their labels are current and in full compliance with all FDA and USDA regulations. In addition, ConAgra Foods labels separately in a 'Contains' statement these Top 8 Food Allergens on their products: Milk, Egg, Wheat, Soy, Peanut, Tree Nuts, Crustacean Shell Fish, Fish. Please check the ingredient list on the package as products are reformulated from time to time and ingredients may change. We do not have a list of meals and ingredients available to send out at this time.
If Natural Flavors, Artificial Flavors, Colors or Spices listed in the ingredients list contain a top 8 allergen, the allergen or allergens would be listed in bold on the product package as part of the 'Contains' statement. We require that our suppliers of any Natural Flavors, Artificial Flavors, Colors or Spices provide us with allergen information so that we are able to provide that information on our labels in the 'Contains' statement.
ConAgra Foods would like to help you with this request to the best of our ability. However, because the information you have requested is considered to be proprietary and a trade secret of ConAgra Foods, we are unable to supply this information.
If you have any allergen concerns outside of the Top 8 Food Allergens, we recommend you do not consume the product and consult your physician.
We appreciate your patronage and value our consumers. We hope you will continue to enjoy our line of quality food.
Sincerely,
Faith

"If you have any allergen concerns outside of the Top 8 Food Allergens, we recommend you do not consume the product and consult your physician."
So he can tell me if it's safe or not. Basically got the same answer from Heinz when calling about spice information.
Because my dr has nothing better to do than write letters to companies so that their patients can eat. That's why they went to medical school (insert head slap).
My dr has provided me with a letter on his letterhead stating my child's allergies and shared lines. All I ever get back is a yes/no. If I wanted to recreate your product would I go to so much dang effort to find out if it's safe

Isn't Unilever a different company? We do use *some* Unilever products but are very cautious about them. The things we do use, they've told me about some very specific cleaning processes.
