oh....that's such a drag

we had a contact reaction last almost a week - no tummy issues but swelling

is it possible that it wasn't a reaction? Or that maybe he had a virus which then caused/contributed to the reaction symptoms...so now you are dealing with a virus and a twichy immune system?

I've had the "fast tummy" and "hit-by-a-bus, drop dead tired" feeling last for a full week, it might have even been 8 days. But that was without epinephrine and follow-up steroids. Poor guy. I hope he is back to himslef soon!

came home from school, as happy as a sulky 14 yr old can be, and went to his mates house.

nothing wrong with him! Smiley

just thought i would update on our rather full allergy reaction year, so far about 7 rxns (one last week) and two epi pens

removing egg from diet has worked, as once again fully allergic to all forms of egg.

however the seed reaction has stumped us all. skin prick tests and blood tests negative.

so , doc pondering spontaneous urticaria, causing swelling in throat and lips. or , allergy to wheat and exercise combination, or a genetic fault, so has had some blood tests and doc going to talk about his case with other docs.

has changed his nasal spray with close look at improvement if any to snoring, if none , will go to a sleep clinic due to allergies stopping him breathing during his sleep.

also talked about immunotherapy, and will be reffered and have treatment for hay fever and tree pollen.

we are concerned that no one knows whats going on, but am glad the docs are trying to sort it out for us.

How heartbreaking to get an allergy back, too.

Really-- that one has to feel so demoralizing.

Adding the mystery stuff on top, of course, makes it hellish. Smiley

Life feels so bitterly unfair sometimes. I truly do hope that you get physician support to help tease it all apart and find out what is happening.
