Erik, do you know if there are any safe candy kisses? I know there are two different brands in stores, and one was safe last year. The only one I saw in a store this year had a warning on it (don't remember brand).

These are for me not for giving out -- so buying late is OK. Smiley

We got the caramel beetles. I wish I'd gotten the spiders too-ds keeps saying he's not a big fan of caramel. Smiley Oh well I got some plain chocolate pops from VNF too.

There are two brands available in Canada and if I don't find the safe ones soon, too late for me.

candyguru, have we started to label for sheanut oil or is it still covered under vegetable oil? do you remember when becky a. sent me the coffee crisp wrapper from america (that was made in canada) and it clearly had sheanut oil in the ingredients, yet, when i checked the canadian coffee crisp, it was simply listed as vegetable oil.
~
i avoid sheanut when it comes to toiletries and have since linda and i researched it 10 years ago, before faan declared it a tree nut. but obviously, with the sheanut oil in chocolate bars, my son has been eating them (i.e., the coffee crisp).
~
last night i saw all the mini hershey bars in a box of 90 with a big "peanut free" logo on them in my local grocery store.

I didn't see that this was posted here so I'm going to post it just incase. I was feeling bad for my little one when we went trick or treating because of her allergies she wouldn't be able to have much (not that we would give her a lot anyways) but still... THEN we got an AMC popcorn ball and she loved it!

Don't know if they have these all over, but they do have them here in WA for those PNW.
