Just adding that the FA specialist you are seeing in the near future needs to have your DD's spt records. Make sure he/she gets them. Then it is my guess that they will do RAST, esp if you request it. My son has had both where you are going with your DD. They told me they prefer to do spt but they did do RAST at my request.
Also, our previous allergist at Mercy did spt the first time and then RAST after that. My daughter's eczema played havoc with the spt results.
I think it is pretty obvious from your DD's spt results that a challenge should not be done right away . . . I can't imagine that the specialist you see will want to do a challenge or will want to repeat the spt.
Also want to add: I know absolutely, and many others here can say the same, about that picture in your mind of your DD's reaction. My kids' reactions are burned into my brain. I'll *never, ever* forget those.

Is it possible he isn't using the diluted peanut solution for Skin Prick Test?
There are various dilutions -- you may want to find out what he used. I know they use the weakest solution with my DS for SPT.

cya, I have no idea. I didn't even know there were different dilutions. Something else to ask when I call to have the records sent to me. Thanks!
