PEANUT ALLERGY ALERT
November 6, 2009
Jelly Belly Candy Company is recalling “Jelly Belly 49 Flavors” cylinder packages, due to undeclared peanut.
The mislabeled product was distributed to independent stores nationwide.
The 7.5-oz. clear acetate cylinder packages bear lot codes 090925, 090928, 090929, 091001, and UPC 071567989398.
Consumers may return the product to Jelly Belly Candy Company, One Jelly Belly Lane, Fairfield, CA 94533. Consumers with questions may call (800) 522-3267.

Says no reported allergic reactions and appears to be a labeling error (yeah, probably old stock in new containers...)
Some "quality control" that they realize it AFTER it's shipped, eh?
The FDA statement says "5 weeks" ago purchase. EGADS!
Any one of us here could have eaten those b/c we were so excited of the discontinued PB flavor.
