"householder"
A little aside, if you all don't mind. Some work I did in grad school that was very important to me was looking at Mt. 13.51-52 in the New Testament. I won't get into the intracicies of the paper, and why it was important to the Gospel writer for Jesus to say this--and this way, but a lot of it centered on the idea of the householder.
The word for it in Mt 13.52 is oikodespoth (I don't have the accents here) or oikodespote. Oikos is "house." And you know what despot is.
Oikos is part of the etymology for economic (nom would indicate word or law or rule).

End of the world special -
2 cans of chicken
can of black beans
can of diced tomatoes
can of corn
cilantro
garlic
Mexene
served over rice
(had to make seperate servings sans beans for DS2 and sans tomatoes for me)
topped with cheese
Got tomato sauce for dinner tonight, planned to make spaghetti last night only to realize I didn't have sauce. Hence my end of the world pantry dinner.

I always doctor my bowl of kale soup with chipotle tabasco. mmmmm. Poblano sounds yummy.
We're having leftover potroast for supper.
Lunch is brown rice pasta with cannellini beans, baby spinach, kalamata olives, mushrooms, red onions, feta, parmesan, olive oil, parsley & rosemary from the garden, and garlic.

Chicken cutlets coated with seasoned corn flake crumbs, sweet potatoes, roasted cauliflower/brussel sprouts/onions.
I wish it would hurry and finish cooking; I'm starving!

Tonight we ate at Amy's and Annie's.
Before a dinner of Amy's (frozen) black-eyed peas with brown rice, broccoli, carrots and ginger sauce, we had some Amy's bunny snacks. Because it was important to.
